Fannie Mae: American Outlook on Housing Improves Consumers are feeling more positive about the housing market despite concerns about the overall economy, according to Fannie Mae’s August 2012 National Housing Survey. More people say they expect home prices to rise in the next year and that it is a good time to sell.
NAR: U.S. Homes Selling Faster; Time on Market Down The typical time it takes for a home to sell is shrinking, in part because of tightened housing inventory, NAR reports. The median time on market fell to 69 days in July, down 29.6 percent July 2011 when it was 98 days. Read the full news release.
