The House and Senate spent most of their time this week in committee action. Key activity this week:
Very little legislative action occurred this week as only the House of Representatives was in session after taking a week off for their spring recess. The Senate had scheduled a two week break. The House adjourned for the week early Thursday afternoon. Both chambers will return to Springfield next week for the final month of this spring session.

LANDLORD TENANT LEGISLATION
The Illinois House has been particularly active this spring on landlord-tenant legislation, much of which we oppose. There was action this week on several measures.
Due to the committee deadline this week, there will not be a State Capitol Report sent today.
Check the website early next week for the latest issue.
