Noted political observer to address REALTORS® policy group

WHO: Dr. Paul Green, director of the Institute for Politics and the Arthur Rubloff Professor of Policy Studies at Roosevelt University.

WHEN: The lunch starts at 11:45 a.m., and Green is expected to speak at 12:20 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 25, Embassy Suites East Peoria Hotel & Conference Center, 100 Conference Center Drive, East Peoria, Ill. The event is in River E.

WHAT: Dr. Green is a widely recognized expert on Illinois politics. He will be speaking at the RPAC Luncheon of the Illinois Association of REALTORS® Policy Meetings. Dr. Green will be speaking on national and state politics, with a special focus on Illinois’ budget mess. 

 

Background: Each year the Illinois Association of REALTORS® holds meetings in January to discuss policy in advance of the legislative session.  The invitation-only meeting attracts some the most engaged members of a 41,000-member association that represents the real estate industry in Illinois. This year’s lunch speaker, Dr. Paul Green, has been featured in The New York Times, the Washington Post, Time and Newsweek. He’s a political analyst for WGN Radio, a guest columnist for Crain’s Chicago Business and has written books on Chicago politics. 

Availability: Green will speak at an 11:45 a.m. luncheon. Afterword, he has agreed to do one-on-one interviews.
