The Designated REALTOR® / broker-manager in each office is automatically authorized to use the IAR Legal Hotline service.

The Designated REALTOR® / broker-manager may designate an IAR member of the sales force by providing his/her name and nine-digit NRDS number in writing to the Illinois Association of REALTORS® Member Records Department, 217-391-4834 or dharper@iar.org.

It is the responsibility of the Designated REALTOR® / broker-manager to ensure that the list is kept up-to-date.

Under no circumstances is the Legal Hotline available to members of the public.

The services of the Legal Hotline are available exclusively to members of the Illinois Association of REALTORS®. The Hotline attorney provides legal information, not legal representation. The Hotline attorney cannot provide or replace the services of your attorney. The purpose of the Hotline is to offer information concerning real estate legal issues and problems. No attorney-client relationship is expressed or implied.
