Greg St. Aubin, Senior Vice President, Governmental Affairs

As the Senior Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Illinois REALTORS®, Greg St. Aubin leads the lobbying activities of the 47,000-member statewide trade association. Greg oversees all aspects of the Association’s governmental affairs efforts, including Illinois REALTORS®' direct lobbying activities, grass roots mobilization, and political fundraising. Greg also oversees the administration of the Illinois REALTORS® Political Action Committee, which currently raises over one million dollars per year to help elect pro-REALTOR® candidates. His staff includes a local governmental affairs team that takes on the ever-growing challenges facing REALTORS® at the local level.

Through all of these programs, the Illinois REALTORS® has a strong voice on public policy issues that profoundly impact property ownership and the real estate profession. Over the years, Illinois REALTORS® has developed an impressive record of promoting and protecting the real estate industry, and is viewed as a dedicated watchdog for property owners and as a constructive and essential participant in the public policy process.

Greg joined the lobbying team of the Association in 1987, and was appointed Director of Governmental Affairs in 1988. Before joining the Association he worked as a Legislative Liaison for the Illinois Department of Revenue. Greg also worked for Illinois Lt. Governor George H. Ryan and for State Senator Laura Donahue.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University.
