BETH LLEWELLYN, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER PARTNERSHIP FOR HOMEOWNERSHIP FOUNDATION The Partnership For HomeOwnership Foundation (PFHO) provides consumer education and financial counseling to low and moderate-income families. The Partnership has organized counseling centers to provide consumer education required for PFHO’s low down payment loan programs, providing access to low interest mortgage programs to more than 2400 families since 1996. The Partnership for HomeOwnership Foundation recently won the 2005 Hope Award for Finance in Washington, DC. The Partnership developed a credit education web site, www.credit-power.org, for junior high and high school students an interactive site in both English and Spanish. Beth Llewellyn works with state and federal housing agencies, the secondary market, and private mortgage insurance companies to develop new mortgage programs. She is a member of the oversight committee for the State of Illinois's Comprehensive Plan, the state applicant for federal HOME funds. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, and Rural Partners, a statewide economic development coalition. She has been member of the National Association of REALTORS State Housing Issues Committee, the Rural Housing Working Group, the Residential Finance Subcommittee, Government Programs Committee, the Housing Needs Committee and NAR's Federal Housing Policy Committee. Llewellyn was also an invited participant to several FANNIE MAE Housing Conferences, Harvard's Center for Housing Policy's Symposium on Housing in the 21st Century, and the Federal Reserve Systems’ Community Affairs Research Conference and was a featured speaker at the 2005 National Conference of State Legislatures She has been a guest speaker for the USDA Rural Development state conferences, the Illinois Bankers Associations Affordable Housing Teleconference, the Illinois Municipal League's Annual Conference, the Chicago Federal Reserve, the Rural Rental Housing Association, and Mission of Peace, a HUD faith-based organization. Ms. Llewellyn testified at the Federal Reserve's Chicago Hearing on Predatory Lending, appeared before the Illinois House of Representative's Task Force on Affordable Housing, the Illinois Senate Committee on Housing and Community Affairs and was a member of two subcommittees of the Governor’s 2003-2004 Housing Task Force
