Major IAR Legislative Wins in Spring Session 

The Illinois General Assembly's spring session ended Saturday and with it came some key legislative victories for IAR's members and private property owners. Mainstreet REALTORS® Plan Habitat Fundraiser

The Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® has donated $7,500and  is holding a fundraiser on June 25 to raise more money for the Habitat for Humanity home being built in Aurora. The project is one of three Habitat homes Illinois REALTORS® are building around the state. The Murphysboro build is finished, but volunteers are still needed for Springfield and Aurora. Sign up to help.

NAR: Pending Sales Edge Up In April 

U.S. pending home sales rose 0.4 percent in April compared to March but were 9.2 percent lower than a year ago, according to NAR's Pending Home Sales Index. Activity was better in the Midwest with pending sales 5.0 percent higher monthly, but 6.9 percent below last year. Read more.

Decatur, Illinois is the most affordable metro area in the entire country, according to Freddie Mac’s latest quarterly analysis of housing affordability
