If you are an Illinois Broker who needs to renew your license before the April 30, 2014 deadline, don't wait until the last minute or you could miss the deadline and find yourself unable to practice on May 1, 2014. You will need tosubmit your renewal application along with the $150 state of Illinois licensing fee to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) before midnight tomorrow.
If you are not going to have your CE finished until April 30, go to the IDFPR website and print the paper application in case the site goes down and you can't access the renewal application. Applications must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2014.
In the event that a broker is not able to access the online renewal function of IDFPR's website and the application form, your other option is to print out the Broker Reinstatement Form - 2012. Cross out the year 2012 and replace with 2014 and cross out the $200 fee and replace with $150. Must be postmarked by April 30, 2014.

RPAC helped stop a local government proposal to license and regulate the use and operation of multifamily dwelling units; charging a $60 fee per unit annually, plus a fee whenever the unit turns over. For a 50-unit property, that cost to a landlord is $3,000-plus annually. RPAC always has your business interests in mind. www.RPACnow.com.
