Immediate Past-President Pat Callan

REALTOR® Pat Callan of Glen Ellyn is the 2010 Immediate Past President of the Illinois Association of REALTORS®. Active in real estate for 38 years, Callan is broker-owner of Realty Executives Premiere in Wheaton, serving as managing broker and involved in the sale and leasing of residential and commercial real estate.

Callan is a past president of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® (MORe) and was named REALTOR® of the Year by the association in 2001 and 2006. He has held leadership positions for the local association for over a decade including chair of the Facility Task Force and Strategic Planning Task Force.

On the statewide level, Callan has served on the IAR Board of Directors since 2000, chaired the Strategic Planning Committee and Business Issues/License Law Working Group and Finance Committee, and lent his expertise to many IAR initiatives including the License Law Task Force, IAR Plaza Inc., and the Real Property Operations Committee. He served as chair of the IAR Executive and Leadership committees as well as the IAR’s National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Political Advisory Working Group.

Callan has served on the National Association of REALTORS® Federal Taxation Committee, Multiple Listing Issues and Policies Committee and the NAR Board of Directors.

Callan has been a Certified Public Accountant for the past 37 years and earned his bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. Before joining Realty Executives Premiere in 1993 he served for 10 years as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for CMD Corporation, a nationwide industrial and office building developer. He resides in Glen Ellyn.
